DYK nomination of Denver Symphony Orchestra
[edit]Hello! Your article, Denver Symphony Orchestra, was submitted at the Did You Know nominations page and has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath the nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing! cmadler (talk) 18:51, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
Hi Cmadler, How about: ...that Sergei Prokofiev disappointed reviewers and himself when he performed with and conducted the Denver Symphony Orchestra in 1938? or ...that Saul Caston, Music Director of the Denver Symphony Orchestra from 1945 to 1964, had been Associate Conductor of the Philadelphia Orchestra under both Leopold Stokowski and Eugene Ormandy?
I also posted these on the talk page at DYK. Thanks! Muserjc (talk) 22:52, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
- Please see new note on DYK talk page. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 23:37, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
DYK for Denver Symphony Orchestra
[edit]On 20 November 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Denver Symphony Orchestra, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that in 1972, Denver voters approved a bond issue to build a performance hall for the Denver Symphony Orchestra, which played in theaters and auditoriums for its first 44 years? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
