Information icon Hello, I'm KNHaw. I noticed that you recently removed content from Treatment of women by the Taliban without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Mohammed Omar was a mullah (cleric)

[edit]

Hello MullahBalawar. The Mohammed Omar article states in its opening sentence that he was a mullah because that is how he was known throughout the English-speaking world: Mullah Omar. His first name was very rarely used. In contrast, Osama bin Laden was rarely referred to as "Sheikh" in English sources. When someone searches Wikipedia for "Mullah Omar" they are redirected to that article, and several editors believe that the article should quickly identify him as a mullah so that readers will know that they are reading the appropriate article. 73.71.251.64 (talk) 15:05, 12 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Masnavi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Abdullah. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
