Whitespace
Hello Mufka. My only reason for trimming whitespace at article October 7, is that frequently, whenever someone edits the page, their edit gets tagged "Tag: excessive whitespace"... more or less alerting recent-change patrollers of a potential issue. The purpose of my edit was to help eliminate false alarms applied to good edits. Though it's nothing I'd argue about, I really don't see the point in preserving or maintaining strings of blank in-line whitespace that serves no purpose to the article. My edit did not alter any existing text, it just tightened up the source-page, and kept everything uniformly the same from top to bottom. The other 364 similar articles could perhaps use a bit of cleaning up as well, but fear not, I'll refrain from wasting time editing in ways deemed unproductive. Have a nice day :) -- WikHead (talk) 00:46, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
- I see your point about the abuse filter, but I watch all of the date pages and it doesn't happen frequently enough to be an annoyance. The reason for the spacing layout is so that the pages can be easily patrolled for anomalies. With everything lined up consistently, it is easy to see if things are overlinked, underlinked, or not in the correct format. For example, in the version that you edited, if I were looking to see that everything had an – instead of a hyphen, I'd get a headache real quick. It has no impact on the displayed page, but it helps immensely when editing it. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 11:43, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

OK MUFKA! here is the additional info about the latest!
Here is what happened a while ago in Darna...
Darna stabs Impy to death while Roma is getting to die because of Impy and then her body has taken by Kobra.
so the adventures of Darna continues...
so PLEASE STOP GIVING ME WARNINGS AS YOU ARE ACCUSING ME OF VANDALISM BUT I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG!!! IF YOU ACCUSE ME AGAIN, I GONNA TELL TO ANY MODS ABOUT YOURSELF!
STUPID MOD AS YOU ARE!! ACCUSING THE ONE WHO RE-EDITS CLEAN PAGE LIKE ME?!
I have an info about the latest episode of Darna
Kobra has an ability to revive dead creatures and humans by biting using his fangs just like what he did to Valentina and Roma (Babaeng Impakta). That's the latest info I've ever seen. Please don't ban me. Just look at Darna's page.

You deleted this page last month; I’ve re-created it, as I had a query. I don’t know if that causes a problem at all, so I thought I'd better let you know. Moonraker12 (talk) 13:21, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for declining the speedy. Yes, I did accidentally tag this for deletion instead of the redirect that is automatically created by the move. I marked to {{hangon}}
pronto. Thanks for deleting the SPEEDY, I could of course have done it myself but, perhaps mistakenly, I thought it was not the done thing to remove one's own deletion requests?
Please advise if I made a mistake of process since obviously this makes work for you poor admins for a silly mistake, but in other areas also if I mistakenly add a deletion or similar (e.g. "this page has now been translated" at WP:PNT) I leave it for another to move or remove, as I think it gives better visibility to others that way, at the expense of making work for admins or peers for stuff I could as easily do myself.
Best wishes Si Trew (talk) 11:56, 31 October 2009 (UTC) (11:56 Proper English Time)
- If you tag it for speedy deletion, you certainly can (and should) undo your mistake. It's more work for an admin to restore a page that was mistakenly deleted - not much, but a waste of time nonetheless. You just can't remove speedy deletion tags that other editors have placed on articles that you have created. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 12:00, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Tim Curry
Hi, you left me a talk message saying "have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and have been reverted." However, none of my edits have been reverted. The only page I could think of that I edited recently was the Tim Curry page when I put back in a credit. I stated why I put the credit back in. In this case it was a listing that Tim Curry was in the new SyFy Channel movie called "Alice" playing the character of "Dodo." This is fact, Alice commercials are being run continuously on the Syfy channel even including a special mention of Tim Curry-http://video.syfy.com/movies_events/alice. It's also listed on their official website and IMDB. None of the other credits on his page list sources, so I didn't think this one need to be listed either. Please let me know and I will do so. Thanks! Circleof05ths (talk) 02:48, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- If it is fact, please provide the source of the information in the article. It is true that many of the other credits do not have sources, but they all should. The newest entries always get attention first. If you get in the habit of providing the source with all of your edits, you won't have to worry about your edits being reverted. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 11:43, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
How about if I put something like "Below is a list of roles according to IMDB." I have never had a problem with previous edits and my edits on his page has NOT been reverted or deleted. So, I'm still only assuming that it's this page that is the problem. I can't comment on any of the other roles listed since I didn't put them there. It does seem a bit odd that each role is going to have to have a source. When do they move into the realm of common public knowledge? For example, if someone listed James Bond as a role for Sean Connery would that have to be sourced? Sorry to ask so many questions, I just want to make sure I have an understanding of this. Thanks. Circleof05ths (talk)
- Keep in mind that IMDB is not a reliable source. Everything must be sourced. Everything. While you and I might think that you'd have to be living on Mars to not know that Sean Connery was James Bond, this is an encyclopedia, and everything must have a source. Even things that are common knowledge must be sourced. Something that seems common knowledge to you might not be so to another reader. This particular edit is relatively minor and these tend to slip by. It would help if the entry included a link to an existing article about the topic, but you must also know that you can't use another article as a source. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 23:06, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
Kim Eng Holdings Limited
Hi Mufka, <br\> Please specify how do you think the article violates neutral point of view. The article is actually a short introduction and requires more work. There are sources given for the content included. It is not written in all-positive-tone. Its not trying to sell anything. It just consists basic facts like what the company does. Can you please remove your objections. 203.208.248.107 (talk) 01:28, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
- Regardless of the content of the article, the community should know that it was written by a representative of the company. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 01:33, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
Hi Mufka,<br\> Oh yes, I'm very much a representative of this company. What proof do I show you? I'm heading the Web 2.0 project in this company. 203.208.248.107 (talk) 01:55, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
- I already know you are a representative of the company. You should let other, uninvolved editors edit the article about your company. If the company is notable, someone else will write about it. You have a conflict of interest and it would be very difficult for you to write objectively about the company. The fact that you are writing about it at all indicates that you want to promote the company and that is not allowed. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 02:03, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
<br\>
Thanks for clarification. This is just a short introduction and as I said already nothing is written to promote the company. You can see it in the content yourself. More content can be added by "uninvolved editors" to this short introduction. You've tagged the article with a "cleanup" message, if you think there is any part of article which seems to be promoting the company, you and others can clean it up.
But, I still don't see it violating any of your rule. While creating this article, sombody already said that the article has a too-positive-tone and I have edited it to make it sound neutral. Now, there is no reason for you to object again. I appreciate your help. 203.208.248.107 (talk) 02:14, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
- It's not really a "violating rules" problem, the tag is going to stay there. This is because many of the people who read Wikipedia trust it as a neutral source that is not related to the company. They deserve to know that the main writer of the article is related to the company, whether the article is neutral or not.
- No proof is needed, it's easy enough to tell from your IP address. And because you are new to Wikipedia and linked strongly with this company, your edits may be promotional without seeming like it.
- The cleanup tag is there because having a whole list of sources is not what we need. We need each fact you put in the article, to be followed by a source, so we know what information came from where. Sources that are not used in the article are pointless. If you'd like more help with citing sources or any other issues feel free to ask me. Š¡nglî§h §Þëªk£r ♪♫ 08:52, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Please change your closure of the AfD, as some are taking it as it is not. The AfD did not run the full amount of days, and was withdrawn, not kept.— Dædαlus Contribs 22:27, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- Don't ask the admin to change the closure because you don't like it. I had originally "non-admin" closed it as a Keep, even after the withdraw because it was a clear snow keep regardless of your withdrawn. The AfD is over, it was a VERY bad AfD to begin with and should be forgotten about. Move on, Dude. - NeutralHomer • Talk • 22:57, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
Fixed. Withdrawn is the correct result. Neutralhomer, take your own advice and move on. Your comments are not helpful. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 00:52, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- So, when I want something next time I just whine, edit war, and go to every admin to get my way and it will happen? Cool. I will keep that in mind. This isn't helpful, Daedalus969's behavior is undermining admin's authority. Plus this is the second really REALLY bad AfD he has created today (and according to another user just among several in past days). No admonishment to him, just caving. - NeutralHomer • Talk • 04:36, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- Please stop taking this so personally. First of all, I did not go to every admin. I went to the single one who closed it. Secondly, when an AfD is withdrawn, the result is never keep, it is withdrawn, always. So what, they were bad afds. Every user makes mistakes every now and then, I don't need you shoving it in my face like it isn't already apparent. Please, drop this.— Dædαlus Contribs 05:22, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- I take it personally because it is my work (I created WBQK) underfire and I don't like having users running all over God's creation to get something changes and edit-warring the whole way to get that "perfered outcome". It was a snow keep long before you marked it withdrawn. What the admin decides is up to that admin, not a user jumping up and down going "teacher, look at me". The admin decided "keep", hell I said "keep" (non-admin) but was reverted. So two people said keep regardless of the withdraw. Why it was so important that your withdraw was recorded for all to see, I am unsure, but that is what annoys and bothers me most. You jumped up and down until you got your way. What disturbs me is the poor AfDs. Yes, people make mistakes, but not 3 in the span of a couple days (2 just today). Those don't seem to be mistakes. Intentional, I honestly hope not, but it disturbs me. I think you need a Wikibreak to learn from your "mistakes" and come back with some fresh eyes, trust me, it does help. - NeutralHomer • Talk • 05:29, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
