Speedy deletion nomination of George Mercier

I'm sorry your page was deleted, however due to our policy on biographies of living persons, we have to be extra careful when we see a page that looks like it might be an attack page, especially when the statements aren't completely referenced. Please review that policy and try again.

- In reply to your query on my Talk page, you could contact the administrator who deleted the article (User talk:Peridon). However care is needed about placing content anywhere in Wikipedia that contains unreferenced material about a living individual. AllyD (talk) 07:02, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
- Read carefully the important policy WP:Biographies of living persons which includes:
"Contentious material about living persons... that is unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable—should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion."
