Copyright issue
[edit]You have an important gripe, as citing sources is essential to Wikipedia - it allows verification. If the info from your website is a copyright violation you can remove it (or ask someone else to), or you could add your website as a references. Just ask here if you need a hand.--Commander Keane 09:27, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:SpfldMG.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:SpfldMG.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:07, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Recent Blocking
[edit]I've been autoblocked because my IP address was recently used by Bulish Rides Again!!!
I went to edit the discussion section of an article I created and its blocked. What????
- Done. Sorry about that -- see WP:AUTOBLOCK for some more information on how they work. Let me know if you have any problems, or use another unblock template. Luna Santin 04:54, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Enfield Square Mall
[edit]Enfield Square Mall, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Enfield Square Mall satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Enfield Square Mall and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Enfield Square Mall during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Springfield-ma-seal.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Springfield-ma-seal.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:35, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Another editor has added the "{{prod}}
" template to the article Charles Ryan, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 09:29, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Springfield-ma-seal.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Springfield-ma-seal.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 02:13, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Non-free rationale for File:SpfldMG.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:SpfldMG.JPG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page.
