User talk:Mrandhawa/Fat suppression
Peer Review
[edit]Interesting topic! Good lead section with the definition of fat suppression that gives readers a general overview of the topic. First sentence can be shortened to “[…] and to characterize the type of lesion by determining the fat content of the tissues.” The remaining examples of “adrenal gland tumors, bone marrow infiltration, fatty tumors, and steatosis” can be further explained in another sentence.
Some questions or subtopics that might be interesting to talk about in your article are:
- Application: When is fat suppression used? Provide common clinical examples?
- Any drawbacks or limitations to this technique?
- Perhaps expand upon the three techniques of fat suppression (fat saturation, inversion recovery, opposed-phase imaging) that were mentioned in the first paragraph?
Consider adding an image to this article! It would be super helpful to see MRI images with and without fat suppression.
Good job linking specific terms to other existing Wikipedia articles.
Remember to create a “References” section at the end with more updated sources and include those citations within your work.
