Please stop spamming articles with 'see also' links to Falcon 4.0. As your own edits have made self-evident, we have articles on many flight simulators, and we don't include links to all of them on each. AndyTheGrump (talk) 15:47, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, but linking one important flight simulation to another one, to call it "spamming" fro my POV is not appropriate.
- Thought the idea of Wikipedia is to give useful information to the people they otherwise might not be able to obtain (easily)...
- Anyway up to you, to revert what I have done, just in that case absolute a waist of time for me to put further work into Wikipedia.
- Regards from a flight sim enthusiast. MrUberBlubber (talk) 15:54, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
- If you were linking 'important flight simulation to another one', logically there should be a link going the other way too - for each of the fifty or so articles you linked, resulting in fifty links in each article. Wikipedia doesn't do it like that. If there are a series of articles on similar topics, we put them into categories, and link that instead. The articles you have edited should all include a link to Category:Flight simulation video games or one of its subcategories, and people can find Falcon 4.0 there. - Ok, I see.
- Just for some of the flight simulator pages a "See also" section already did exist, so thought, why not to have that on the other pages as well...
- Would you mind if I create that link into Category:Flight simulation video games (after figuring out, how that needs to be done)? MrUberBlubber (talk) 16:14, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
- As I said, there should already be a link in articles: generally at the bottom of the page. If you look at say Battlehawks 1942, the last page you edited, it includes a link to Category:World War II flight simulation video games at the end of the list at the bottom of the page. Clicking on that link brings up a list of WW2 flight sims, with further links at the bottom, including one to the more general Category:Combat flight simulators which includes Falcon 4.0.

- The sims you have edited should include a relevant category, though it is possible one or two don't, in which case adding one should be useful: the most specific category available, ideally. See WP:CATSPECIFIC for guidance on how to chose appropriate categories. AndyTheGrump (talk) 16:31, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
