Spelling Change on the Reference Desk

[edit]

Hi - please note that the Reference Desk guidelines discourage changing anybody else's contributions. I realize that the IP poster had spelled "bizarre" incorrectly, but changing other's words, even to correct spelling, is just not done on the Ref Desks. --LarryMac | Talk 12:35, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Good correction Skills

[edit]

Hi MrSkill,

I appreciated your sharp eyes. The "SMRT Corporation" seems very cluttered. Care to help simplify it further?

Sony Marketing

[edit]

Hi there, I'm wondering why you moved Sony marketing to Sony Marketing? The page refers not to a specific division or campaign, but to Sony's marketing practices generally. Perhaps you had something in mind? Just let me know! CaseyPenk (talk) 03:43, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Whoops, it looked better when you put the uppercase M. Lowercase words for like company names don't work for me. I also thought it was a campaign.. You could change it back. --MrSkill (talk) 03:47, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia has very specific guidelines on the use of capital letters, see WP:MOSCAPS. Wikipedia does not use title case. Hope that helps for the future. Pol430 talk to me 07:23, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

your file rename request

[edit]

Hi, just to let you know i have removed the {{rename media}} from the File:Indosat Logo.svg as the rename template was incomplete. you should mention the new name and the reason for renaming as well. to me the name seems to be fine and accurate--ÐℬigXЯaɣ 05:40, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Counter-Vandalism Unit Academy exists to help users, like yourself, understand the way to identify and handle Vandalism through one-on-one instruction. Perhaps you'd like to ask a question of our instructors, or perhaps Enroll in the Academy".
