Um... No I am not a sockpuppet of anyone and I will file a request to be unblocked. Mr. Voice (talk) 23:22, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

There is no record on checkuser of my name bing linked to anyone else. What because of an IP address? I run off a wireless internet connection shared with this entire apartment complex. It is part of our rent and paid for by our landlord. So I think you need to check your facts before you claim I am someone I am not.

Decline reason:

The checkuser report was made at the Administrators' noticeboard, with Thatcher (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) reporting a positive checkuser. Kralizec! (talk) 10:35, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

According to the information you just posted. HeadMouse was blocked until April 6. I have been a member since Feb 9th So how does that make me a sockpuppet of HeadMouse? Was it not posted that Head Mouse had a long block and could not post under his name or IP Address? So I request again that this block be removed and that the claim of sockpuppet be dropped

Decline reason:

Again, a checkuser has confirmed that you are editing from the same computer as another user, and that there is no chance you could be anyone else. You are encouraged to read WP:SOCK. If you cannot come up with another reason to unblock you, this talk page will be protected to prevent abuse of this template. Please see the link given in the last decline reason for more information. — Hersfold (t/a/c) 12:28, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am not HeadMouse

[edit]

From reading the Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboardabout Head Mouse block expiring on April 6th and his last edit being April 11 I then checked his history and it looks as though his last edit was to blank his own page, and nothing after that. I would see that as a sign of him either 1) leaving 2) starting over or 3) just sitting back and doing nothing with Wikipedia. I hardly see that as a sign of him being or making a sockpuppet as claimed by MBK with his comment "It appears that HeadMouse's block expired on 6 April, and his last edit was on 11 April. It seems that we have a sockpuppeteer." And as I have pointed out above. I have been officially member since Feb. 9th. Also as I have stated in the article discussion page I have been following the article for some time and since my joining I have made NO edits or changes the way HeadMouse did. This is ridiculous and I will fight this wrongful block and claim. Mr. Voice (talk) 11:13, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I did see the link thats what I was referring to. A lot of claims that I am HeadMouse but no proof. And as I explained This internet connection is shared with this entire apartment complex, so that is the only answer I can provide for your ip address check. I has cause problems in the past for me going to other sites. Most the time I use an IP hidder but Wikipedia won't allow that so I just come on here normally. But i see now that causes problems too.

Decline reason:

We are not the government; conclusive proof is not required. Page protected. — Sandstein (talk) 23:47, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're right there is no real solid proof that you the same person as HeadMouse. But you showed similar disruptive editing patterns and violated 3rr which was the reason for your original block, add to that the fact that Checkuser showed that both of you were on the same IP address makes it easy to "put 2 and 2 together" and say you are a sockpuppet or atleast a meatpuppet of him.--Sunny910910 (talk|Contributions|Guest) 22:46, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So because I broke a rule for the very first time since my joining that makes me a sockpuppet? And So far from what I have seen Checkuser has shown nothing other then someone claiming I am HeadMouse. I have explained already that this internet connection is shared with A LOT of other people in this complex. Not to mention the number of people that like to park in the paring lot and use the connection and who knows how many people over at the school that is across the street can pick up the wireless connection? And since it has now been said by another person that there is no "real solid proof" of me being a sockpuppet. then I think it only fair that he block be removed. even if I am watched like a hawk to see how I act. Maybe that will prove I am not HeadMouse. Mr. Voice (talk) 22:59, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Note that while I said that there was "no real solid proof", there is evidence against you ( and similar to how a law in real life works) it is usually enough.--Sunny910910 (talk|Contributions|Guest) 23:05, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And also how the law works in real life, insufficient evidence and lack of real solid proof equals no conviction. This block is not valid. Mr. Voice (talk) 23:29, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
