Considering that “Mr. Emma Balistreri” makes 30 edits a minute, I suspect that this user is blindly making edits and spamming peoples’ talk pages with “vandalism warnings”, which this user himself is quite literally vandalizing Wikipedia by editing so quickly. 2A04:CEC0:101D:785:AC3D:D4F8:FE8:5C0D (talk) 01:04, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Inappropriate Warning Templates

[edit]

Hello, I came across your reverts at recent changes and noticed that you have been using the 'final warning' template to warn many IPs when they've only made one bad edit. And slightly differently, at User talk:27.7.127.109, you gave two 'final warnings' despite never reverting their edits. WP:WARNVAND has some guidelines for which templates to use. Thanks. He is still doing it; see User talk:98.209.207.216. Considering the amount of edits this user is doing per minute, he is either using a script or send these messages to people or he doesn’t care to look at what he is editing.

Vandalism on Emojiland

[edit]

Hi. I would like clarification on the claim that I vandalized the "Emojiland" page. I read the definition of page vandalization provided by wikipedia and don't believe anything I added fit the definition. I added the other two professional casts of the musical (with creditable sources cited) which most every other page on a musical does (See pages "Head Over Heels", "Mean Girls (Musical)", and "Heathers: The Musical"), and then corrected a grammatical error that made a sentence hard to read. Nothing I did was to be malicious or to be funny, my only intent was to provide the information I had collected for others to see and to update the page to current standards. Can I know what was deemed vandalism? 2603:7000:2BF0:4B70:B056:D80:9216:C87A (talk) 01:07, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This guy is removing people's edits at random and vandalizing articles, then sending "warnings" to people. You probably didn't do anything wrong. 98.236.138.13 (talk) 01:10, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Everyone: This is a sockpuppet of an LTA

[edit]

I have reported this sockpuppet at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Hamish Ross. This long-term abuser has a habit of leaving warning templates on user talk pages without cause. Please revert or delete them, and feel free to reverse any article reverts that don't have a reasonable basis. Stefen 𝕋owers among the rest! GabGruntwerk 01:11, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
