You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:Mpumalanga Youth Council Organisation, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. (See section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Contested deletion
[edit]This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --Mpumalanga Youth Council Organisation (talk) 08:18, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
Good day, Mpumalanga Youth Council Organisation doesn't promote itself but it promote the youth and children it serve in the community of South Africa, It is to help children & youth from disadvantaged families, street-kids, school dropouts, abandoned & child headed families that are the most vulnerable children. It is our belief that the support of orphanages to provide care where destitute children can be nurtured and given sound Christian principles and a decent education should be our concern as citizens.
MYCO Operational Activities
We provide a daily cooked meal, academic support with homework daily and twice monthly on Saturdays plus extra mural activities such as painting and sporting activities, with children & youth within the community. With the after-school programs the youth & children are supervised by trained professionals providing daily structured programs and activities from Monday – Friday from 07h00 to 17h30.
- Wikipedia is not here to tell the world about your noble cause. Organizations aren't entitled to have an article just because they exist, or if they do good work. They must meet our notability criteria to be considered worthy of inclusion.
- Writing about your own organization is a conflict of interest. Even well-intentioned editors have difficulty understanding that simply telling the world about your organization's existence is still promotion, because they aren't capable of being objective judges of their organization's notability.
- In addition, you wrote on your userpage, which is not an article. It is a special page for you to write a little bit about yourself - the individual who is operating this account. On that note, accounts cannot represent organizations or be shared by several people. An account must represent, and only be accessed by, the same individual for the account's entire lifetime. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:55, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
