You could start by not deleting information that is important enough to keep in articles. Then I would work on making sure the stuff you add doesnt sound like an advertisement. Jwalte04 (talk) 14:13, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Tom stokes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb1 (talk) 16:11, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Tom stokes. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. ttonyb1 (talk) 16:12, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I got your e-mail but I never respond to e-mails from contributors I don't know. If you feel your article was unfairly deleted, you should raise the issue on the appropriate page. However, I see that you first tried to create an article about this person way back in 2009, so you should know by now what is wrong with it. You should also know that article space is not the place to draft incomplete articles. Deb (talk) 10:31, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
