Andrew Gold
[edit]Why did you remove the reference to him being a contestant on Family Feud? Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 20:42, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
- Weird. The old citation worked just fine for me, and it's the exact same link I just put back into the article. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 02:16, 14 July 2013 (UTC)
- What are you seeing wrong with it? It works perfectly fine for me. I think you're confused because it's behind a paywall and the link only shows part of the article, so just clicking the link doesn't show the portion that mentions the Feud appearance. However, the sentence regarding the appearance does show up if you search "Andrew gold" "Family Feud" on Google news. I've added a {{subscription required}} to make it a bit clearer. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 02:21, 14 July 2013 (UTC)
- First of all, I said Google News. The first result here shows that the article contains the quote, "I viewed it in my hotel room, and I hope someone in Denver saw Andrew Gold (whose "Lonely Boy" hit No. 7 in 1977) reduced to leading his family in competition on television's "Family Feud" for $10000." Is that good enough? Also, please don't forget to sign your posts on talk pages with four tildes. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 02:33, 14 July 2013 (UTC)

Ethan Gold (musician) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Ethan Gold (musician), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
