Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Barcelona: A Love Untold, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Hollyckuhno (talk) 09:29, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Hollyckuhno,

Have you read the entire International release and box office section that I added? It was peppered with citations and reliable sources. Have you heard of Movie City News? It's a legitimate facts/figures only website based out of Los Angeles that only publishes legitimate movie box office results. I have seen many Wikipedia pages citing Movie City News. Their source is the same source used by Box Office Mojo. So why would you remove that entire section when it is from citations. I have seen many Filipino movie pages in Wikipedia where anonymous users constantly update it with bogus figures that are not cited yet it's tolerated whereas what I added actually had reliable & legitimate citations.

Thanks Movieloverinlove (talk) 09:40, 8 October 2016 (UTC)Movieloverinlove[reply]

Further to my response, you said, "it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say." and that's exactly why I cited Movie City News. I looked into all the Filipino movies that they published and only 5 movies had citations where the movie gross passed $1,000,000. So in your words, "published sources that imply something that none of them explicity say" is what I did with the 5 movies. MCN is not a biased source. It only publishes facts & figures. They published that those 5 movies made over $1 million in 10 days therefore it is a fact.

So, in your own words, please be prepared to explain why that is not considered a citable contribution to this page.

Hi, first of all, I did not removed the international releases you added. I only moved it in the proper section under the sub-article Release. Second, I have removed the second paragraph because it does not cite any references. Third, I removed the third paragraph because it is a synthesis of published materials that advances a position; meaning it is an original research stitched together from various sources to imply a conclusion.
