Did you fact-check information in the source? Do not simply dismiss information without fact checking it first, valid information dismissed on pretense that source previously known as unreliable is abuse of Wikipedia rules. ? And it is very hard to find other sources, not just unreliable in this political situation. I do not want to start edit wars, but I would have to. RT has been deprecated in 2020 because it "publishes false or fabricated information". It's not "abuse of Wikipedia rules" to remove text sourced only to unreliable sources. Kleinpecan (talk) 05:54, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
At this moment rt.com is the only source of text, text that word by word recites primary source, primary source in question is video interview with person wiki page is about. It is all verifiable if you have access to these resources and know the language. I have provided a link to primary source. https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Verifiability#Exceptional_claims_require_exceptional_sources MouseInDust (talk) 07:37, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you don't mind, and based on numerous sources and apparent Notability, we must bring back my changes. MouseInDust (talk) 07:59, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • The first article is published by the Fars News Agency, whose Wikipedia article (particularly the "Notable stories" section) shows why it's not a reliable source.
  • The second link is a translation of an article in Komsomolskaya Pravda. This source has not been discussed on the English Wikipedia in sufficient detail, but it's considered generally unreliable on the Russian Wikipedia.
  • The third article cites random Twitter accounts created in April 2022, seemingly created for the sole purpose of spreading disinformation, which also makes me doubtful about its reliability.
  • The fourth article is published by Red ATB, a Bolivian TV channel. Given that the website republishes articles by RT ([7], [8]) and uncritically uses phrases like "nationalist forces" and "Russia's special military operation to defend civilians of the self-proclaimed independent republics of Donetsk and Luhansk" ([9]), I see no reason why it should be considered reliable.
All in all it looks like scraping the bottom of the barrel, trying to find whatever sources there are for the purpose of POV-pushing. Kleinpecan (talk) 09:12, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Here is more 3rd party resources that are interested in this finding and analyzing it.

The video with the person in question is already shared all over social media, you can use this video to fact-check information in all above links.
It is not matter that twitter account was created recently, there is a reporting system in place on twitter, account would get blocked by now if it was disinformation.
Western media do not report on this finding, it might be because it is not in the interest of their shareholders to do so. I would call it act of cancel culture and hypocrisy on their side, if it is in fact the case.
In this case, information is clearly ignored by western media. Then, according to wikipedia rules and AFAIK according to Wikipedia editor's consensus, if it is not in western media that comprise most of trusted sources, then it is not acceptable on en.wikipedia. Isn't that hypocritical and biased ? MouseInDust (talk) 14:07, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
