Information icon Hello, I'm Hohum. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Panther tank, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to Panther tank, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Please provide proper sourcing for the information. Name of work, author, publisher, and page numbers for each piece of information. (Hohum @) 12:36, 17 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I added a footnote. It was from Spielberger Panther and Its Variants a book ALREADY listed in the bibliography on the page. The footnote was 126. That was bad proof reading on your part. I therefore request that my addition be restored to the Panther tank page.
I haven't removed your addition. - I was hoping you would properly reference it. The footnote you added is positioned so that it supports the text before it. The rest has no inline referencing. If it is the source for everything you added, there needs to be a reference for each fact when it is from a different page (I somehow doubt this was all from on page). WP:CITESHORT may of assistance. It also relies on quotations too much. The inline tag in the article leads to explanations of how to improve that.(Hohum @) 22:30, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
