Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You seem to be a single purpose account as all your contributions have been adding references to the same automotive blog. Please consider your actions and also look at WP:COI Biker Biker (talk) 20:37, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

MCN

[edit]

I applaud your efforts to remove unreliable sources, but understand that Motor Cycle News is not a blog, it is a printed newspaper, published weekly. I believe the same is true of Motorcycle USA which is a monthly magazine. Please don't delete well-sourced content just to make a point (WP:POINT) --Biker Biker (talk) 07:55, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on User talk:Biker Biker. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Thank you. Ebikeguy (talk) 03:33, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Motormy, good luck, and have fun. Don't let the rough start get you down. You obviously have a lot of knowledge to contribute, and your contributions are encouraged. Just be careful about self-promotion and personal attacks, and realize that Wikipedia editors may need to have a bit of a thick skin at times. --Ebikeguy (talk) 19:18, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A Note About Sockpuppetry

[edit]

Are you also editing as "Pistonmy?" If so, you should understand that doing so is not allowed under Wikipedia's rules regarding sockpuppetry and delete one of your accounts. Thanks. Ebikeguy (talk) 21:21, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
