Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Mostafazizi! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 0 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

On Ahmad Shamlou's image
[edit]I have noticed that you periodically replace the main image of Ahmad Shamlou's entry by an utterly inferior photograph that happens to be uploaded by you. What is the logic behind your action, aside from promoting your inferior photograph? Shamlou's image, like the image of any other individual who has an entry in Wikipedia, is supposed to let people know about his facial characteristics, to let them recognise him when they encounter his image elsewhere. The image uploaded by you does not meet these requirements; it merely shows someone sitting at a messy desk, staring at his computer screen; he could be Shamlou, but could equally well be thousands of other men with white hairs staring at their computer screens. Could you therefore discontinue with your unpleasant practice? The image that you are constantly removing, is, amongst others, by one of the most celebrated photographers of Iran. If you have any points to make regarding the present image and your image, then please record them on the talk page of Shamlou's entry (what I find extremely annoying, is your systematic failure to record the nature of your edits in the entry at issue in the pertinent edit log --- you just replace the image, without caring, or perhaps without having the courage, to inform others of your replacement of the image; my memory is that you have been very systematic in this, so that I am not inclined to ascribe your failure to chance). --BF 06:19, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Fereshteh Molavi
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Fereshteh Molavi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Disambiguation link notification for January 19
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Arash Azizi, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages New Democratic Party, NDP and Halifax (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Ways to improve Alireza Bazrafshan

Thank you for creating Alireza Bazrafshan.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Entire sections of the article lack supporting citations from reliable independent sources. All significant statements need to be supported by references. Also the sections on works and awards should either be written as prose or as lists
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Paul W}}
