Abaza

[edit]

Hi there! I removed the translation you added in the Abaza name article because Google Translate is not considered to be a reliable source and cannot be used to support any statements. What you need to support that translation is a citation of an academic source (preferably one discussing the name and its origins; the same way Baskakov does), and you shouldn't remove the "stupid" variant, because it is properly sourced and has not been shown to be incorrect. Also, while I don't know Turkish, isn't abazan the Turkish word for "horny", and not abaza?—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); December 16, 2015; 19:58 (UTC)
