Shaigiya tribe

[edit]

Could you explain why this account is suddenly making edits very similar to those made by Ahmed ibn Khalid (talk · contribs) at Shaigiya tribe? 17:14, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • first thing there is no relation between me and the user that you mentioned, the user LeGabrie (talk · contribs) is the only one that editing this page and no one correct him, he is reading from sources of non-sudanese or non-arabs, this is not the problem, the problem is that he is only reads from these sources! and completly depends on them! the user is Biased that shaigiya are nubians and arabized, Although they are known to be Arabs. --Mosab alawad (talk) 17:49, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
"This pattern of peaceful infiltration [of Nubia by Arab nomads] ... produced a blend of the two elements: the Arabized Nubians or the Ja'aliyyin, according to genealogists. [They include] all the riverain dwellers between Dunqula and the Sixth Cataract"
-Sudanese historian Yusuf Fadl Hasan (1967), "The Arabs and the Sudan", p. 146 LeGabrie (talk) 18:20, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
yes i know that my tribe is an [arab] tribe that mixed with nubians, its a historical fact that arabs came to nubia in different migrations .. but when you say arabized nubians its like you are saying that they are nubians claims to be arabs! no this is toally wrong, their ancestors are arabs, and came to this land then intermixed with nubians (but they still arabs) and they brought islam and arabic language to the region, and and this is their identity, also their language is classic arabic, and absolutely there will be nubian words in shaigiya dialect since they mixed with them.Mosab alawad (talk) 19:40, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
