Concern about COI editing at Esther Hicks

[edit]

Hello MoriahBaron. In this change you reverted an edit by Tmtoulouse, who has been making a serious effort to develop consensus on the article's Talk page. Since you have been granted a reprieve by User:AGK, I urge you to cooperate with the other editors. If not, I fear that the issue will be brought up again on the administrative noticeboards. EdJohnston (talk) 18:08, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I too am making a serious effort to develop consensus! My edit is being discussed now and as you will see it was thoroughly referenced and within the rules. I understand that tmToulouse is more experienced in Wiki than I am, but his characterizing me as not wanting to cooperate is simply erroneous, and I have asked him to stop. If you take a look at all that has transpired between us, you will see that I have never been anything but respectful of TmToulouse and continue to be. He seems to have an ax to grind against the subject of this bio. I hope I am wrong about that, and I am proceeding with sincerity and integrity. --Moriah (talk) 18:25, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Moriah, when you add sentences like "she describes what she is doing as tapping into infinite intelligence" to the Esther Hicks article, could you please provide a reliable source for such a claim? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Theserialcomma (talkcontribs) 10:57, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comma, that sentence comes from the exact same "reliable source" that it was already referenced to. Namely, the Independent article. You have my word that nothing I ever add to Hicks' biography or any other article on Wiki will not be referenced. You can follow the footnote to the reference. Count on it! Also, BEFORE I made the change on the bio, I quoted the Independent article in the discussion area. Nobody commented, so I went ahead and made the change. --Moriah (talk) 11:15, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
