Note

[edit]

I have watch listed this page and will from time to time search for new sources. I think the Senior TED Fellow should have gotten her over WP:ANYBIO since it seems to be a pretty selective two stage process - TED Fellow then selected to continue as a Senior Fellow. (Heck, I tend towards deletionism so the delete was a surprise.) But... JbhTalk 03:46, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Cool. I think that just adding more source material will help. There was a bunch of stuff noted at the AfD, some by me, but not all was incorporated into the article. I don't personally have a lot of energy to put into this, but I think it's worth saving and the sandbox is open to everyone who wants to work here. We may have to open an RfC on the notability of TED fellows, perhaps. Montanabw(talk) 06:44, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Background

[edit]

The AfD was here: Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Alanna_Shaikh. There were a number of sources mentioned there that could be used to add to the article. The close was, in my mind, very poorly reasoned. The one that jumped out at me was the TED issue; as the TED fellowship was not argued based on NACADEMIC, it was argued on WP:GNG. Also, NPROF and NACADEMIC are the same set of criteria, just different abbreviations. NPROF was probably not even the correct set of SNGs to use, as this individual is a development specialist, not a university professor. All JMO. Montanabw(talk) 19:36, 16 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sources

[edit]

Here is a possible source Letizia Espanoli (2012). Alzheimer. Idee per la qualità della vita. Maggioli Editore. pp. 63–. ISBN 978-88-387-7725-7. but I do not read the language and I can not cut/paste it into GTranslate. JbhTalk 20:53, 16 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
