Hi Monkhouse - I just wanted to say that I read your comments (from 2007 I believe) on the OPD/DMOZ/What's-the-next-abbreviation discussion page, and then your posts on the dmoz forum - and that I really agree with your points. I've always been against their whole way of running things. Their complete lack of basic human psychology is surprisingly depressive. There is absolutely nothing that encourages users to become, or for that matter stay, editors.

Your posts were very well argued, whereas their replies and attitudes in generel were very supercilious - they consistently try to make one feel like a complete idiot!

So that was just a little heads-up from my side, saying that "you're not alone". T-roland (talk) 23:02, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
