Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Mollythemoo39, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Critical (TV series), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Tea House, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! McGeddon (talk) 17:41, 28 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Critical (TV series) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:CRYSTAL: "Individual scheduled or expected future events should be included only if the event is notable and almost certain to take place." - series is not even due to begin filming until 2014.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Jed Mercurio

[edit]

Hi, you have been very active on Jed Mercurio's page and related articles over a long period. Can I ask what your connection is with him? Rayman60 (talk) 13:34, 26 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I’m his daughter. When people post information, I ask him if it’s factually correct and find references online. For example some posters disputed he’d ever been in the RAF so I found proof. Recently someone put up a line about him going to grammar school but he never did. Check back and you’ll see. You can change or remove whatever you like as long as it’s true! Mollythemoo39 (talk) 14:12, 26 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
If I’ve done something wrong I’m really sorry! Mollythemoo39 (talk) 14:14, 26 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, yes as per WP:COI, it is not allowed to edit the article on someone with whom you have a connection with, either a family connection or a commercial (paid) one. Going forward, please ensure you don't edit the article or any related articles (e.g. a show by him). If there is anything you wish to raise, you can do so on the talk page. Rayman60 (talk) 19:37, 4 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine. I understand the rules now. I hope you accept I was only posting/correcting factual information. You've deleted awards my dad won, which is a shame. Maybe Wikipedia will give you an award for doing that. Bye.Mollythemoo39 (talk) 15:13, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Rayman60: Please try to understand the difference between "strongly discouraged [and] must be declared" (true) and "not allowed" (false). Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 14:36, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
