Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Mohd Arshad Qureshi, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Diana Khan, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Diana Khan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. clpo13(talk) 17:32, 14 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Diana Khan

[edit]

Hello Mohd Arshad Qureshi,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Diana Khan for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. WikiEditCrunch (talk) 21:25, 14 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. clpo13(talk) 22:26, 14 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Removing AfD template

[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Diana Khan. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 13:22, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Requesting an IP address block exemption, because (I'm affected by an IP address block which is unrelated to my editing and preventing me from editing with a logged-in account.). Mohd Arshad Qureshi (talk) 11:47, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You are not currently eligible for IP block exemption, as you have made almost no edits. If you provide your IP address (WhatIsMyIP will tell you what your address is), we can investigate to see if the block should be changed to anon-only (which would allow you to edit), or if the block needs to be left in place (for example, it's an open proxy). If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

{unblock| reason=Requesting an IP address block exemption, because (I want to create few new pages, but I'm unable to do so, kindly unblock me). Mohd Arshad Qureshi (talk) 13:29, 28 February 2017 (UTC)}}[reply]

As noted, you aren't eligible for an IP address block exemption. You'll need to provide your IP address in order for us to find the block affecting you. --Yamla (talk) 13:45, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Requesting an IP address block exemption, because (Unblock me, my IP address is 101.56.105.173). Mohd Arshad Qureshi (talk) 16:25, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

That IP is not blocked, and you are not editing from that IP. The IP you are editing from, which I am not allowed to disclose, is blocked as a colocation provider. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 16:50, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
