Edit war warning
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ethics. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jytdog (talk) 15:18, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:53, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
discussion?
[edit]moving a comment left on my talk page to here, to join the rest of the conversation, which is to my surprise gone Jytdog (talk) 22:06, 11 August 2015 (UTC) FYI: Citation in Wikipedia has not scientific benefit. No one does not rely on WP in scientific papers. Importance of including ethics in medical curricula is the main goal. If citation is your problem, we can add that without pointing to a specific article. By the way, are you an expert in ethic? medicine? education? Because I do believe that someone without professional experience should not be able to censor a scientific material.Based on the rules, I want you to know that I'm reporting this inappropriate editing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mohammad1985k (talk • contribs) 20:43, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi. You deleted our conversation! Too bad. If you want to create some meaningful content based on that article (PMID 25887509), please feel free. But what you added:
- here: "Nowadays physicians believe that appropriate focus should be paid on ethics education in an increasingly demanding academic realm to serves as a foundation for the medical decisions of future physicians."; and
- here: "This particular field is attracting more and more importance in medical education."; and
- here: "Bioethics importance, attracts more attention to its role in training programs."
- is each a wandwavy bunch of words, clearly intended to hang the citation on. Jytdog (talk) 22:10, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
also moving a comment [1] to here for continuity Brianhe (talk) 22:12, 11 August 2015 (UTC) Hi Brianhe I suggested mentioning the point without any citation. This is a scientific field and childish behavior and response has no place. Please take a part in a scientific entry if only and only you know enough to talk about. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mohammad1985k (talk • contribs) 20:57, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- @Mohammad1985k, it doesn't help me as a reader if you remove huge sections of the discussion as you did here. [2] Would you consider reinstating it? Willondon (talk) 15:47, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- moved comment left on my talk page here so that discussion is one place Jytdog (talk) 11:50, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
- Your rude answer about a comment by using "bunch of word" phrase is an exact simple of insult. Actually you do not have the capacity to understand that WP citation has NO scientific privilege. Sorry to say it but you do NOT behave professionally and I won't waste my valuable time by talking some one who has childish behavior when he/she does not have any kind of expertise in a field. It seems that you consider WP as a toy, I will leave it for you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mohammad1985k (talk • contribs) 11:32, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
- I appreciate you communicating with me, and I am sorry you are upset. I've tried to tell you several times additions to Wikipedia need to have content that says something - the content you have added (copied above) are just general statements - they don't say anything. It is clear that getting the citation into Wikipedia is important to you. I can help you, if you like. Jytdog (talk) 11:53, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
- It seems strange, but sometimes, the better editors are ignorant. Above truth, Wikipedia relies more on verifiability. Expertise comes from secondary sources, not primary sources claiming a superior right to edit. Willondon (talk) 22:11, 13 August 2015 (UTC)

Tubal ligation
[edit]Hello. Regarding your addition to the article Tubal ligation, could you please check your addition against the article? You said, in quotation marks indicating it is a direct quotation from the article, "this decades-old mandatory delay policy was well intentioned but has now come to have the effect of restricting women's access to elective tubal sterilization and injustice." But this is ungrammatical; the words "and injustice" at the end don't really seem to fit into the sentence. I doubt if this is what the article actually said. Could you please compare it to the article, and correct it if necessary so that the quote reads exactly as it was in the article? Thanks. --MelanieN (talk) 15:33, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
