Are you MarkBA ?

[edit]

Anyway I have supposed about you that you are a MarkBA sockpuppet account who has been banned from here for uncertain time. So, an IP check procedure has needed surely at you which can clear your moody status.

Obviously, you are not a beginner editor. Bye bye Nmate (talk) 19:09, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Modrajedobra,

Regardless of your sources, unless you are MarkBA, your addition will stay up in the article. I had asked you about this thing approx. 10 months ago but you still did not give me any answer.--Nmate (talk) 12:44, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nope. Modrajedobra (talk) 13:26, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Still, i think you are MarkBA because it is suspicious if anybody is always editing just the same topic with an almost a year old account. Besides you had used the 78.xxxx ip range before your account was created and this ip range belongs to MarkBA! This is already proven by checkusers. See:[1]

Yes, of course your argument would be logician if you weren't MarkBA. But i just revert you because as known a sockpuppet has to be reverted. So, i may only suggest you to download this game, where you can do your monkey business instead of here.

However i won't revert Baxter9's edits - who is also interested in this topic - because his edits are legal on wikipedia.--Nmate (talk) 08:25, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Banská Bystrica, ref name="archeologia"/

[edit]

Please tell me, exactly which sentence says that the city was built by the "ancestors of modern slovaks"? THX!--B@xter9 16:00, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My actual phrase: "The present city was founded in the 9th century CE as a Slavic settlement." The the cited source: "Slovania osídlili úrodné terasy Hrona a ich existenciu v Banskej Bystrici potvrdzujú nálezy v dvornom trakte domu na Námestí SNP č. 3 na pravobrežnej terase Hrona už v 9. storočí. Tam sa dá predpokladať najstaršia slovanská predlokačná osada, na mieste ktorej vzniklo stredoveké mesto." Modrajedobra (talk) 14:07, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your source say that there was a settlement in the 9th century, and not that "The present city was founded in the 9th century". That is a big difference! Also, the city was founded by German settlers invited by the hungarian king, and it was re-founded after the mongol invasion.--B@xter9 10:30, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The archeological term "predlokačná osada" means that the German settlers were invited into an existing settlement. Modrajedobra (talk) 15:55, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As I said, the present city was founded by the german colonists, which was destoyed during the mongol invasion. Slavs lived in that territory in the 9th, but this proves only that the territory was inhabitad, but has nothing to do with a 12th, 13th, 14th etc city. Or Budapest was founded by the romans?--B@xter9 19:13, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What is your source saying that the original settlement was destroyed in 1241 and uninhabited in 1255 when German colonists came? I've never read it. The main church is thought to be built before 1255. Another church is proven to be built before 1255. Maybe you have a newer book. What is it? Modrajedobra (talk) 19:32, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

German colinists: from the offical site of the city of the city.

Ps.: I checked the english version of your source:[2] It doesnt say that the present city was founded by slavs, it only says that the present city was built upon the old slavic settlement.--B@xter9 19:37, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't know they have an English version. My source is the Slovak version. Thank you. I will change it. By the way, what is the exact url of your 1910 population? I don't see it at the linked page foruminst.sk. And where is the number of Germans? Modrajedobra (talk) 19:40, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Can you change it to what you found? "The present city was built upon a Slavic settlement, founded in the 9th century CE.<ref name="archeologia"/>" It is an important fact and cited. Modrajedobra (talk) 19:42, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I found that information on the Hungarian wikipedia. Since the other sources have no direct url too ([3]), i added this too. I can check my books tomorrow.--B@xter9 19:44, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Can you change it to what you found? "The present city was built upon a Slavic settlement, founded in the 9th century CE.<ref name="archeologia"/>" It is an important fact and cited." I have nothing against it. You can add it if you would like, since it is sourced information, i will not remove it.--B@xter9 19:46, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I added.--B@xter9 19:48, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Modrajedobra (talk) 12:32, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
