[edit]Hello, I'm Toddst1. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Arnold Palacios, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. WP:DOB is one of the more important areas of WP:BLP. Toddst1 (talk) 01:53, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for letting me know, I'll do my best to make more citations in the future. Mododge16 (talk) 15:14, 12 December 2022 (UTC)

An article you recently created, Matt Beat, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:53, 18 February 2023 (UTC)

William Gay Ballantine moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to William Gay Ballantine. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources and it needs more sources to establish notability. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Razer(talk) 22:39, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for February 23
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Running mate, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Southern Nigeria. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Japheth, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Rsk6400 (talk) 06:59, 2 September 2023 (UTC)

Hi, Mododge16. I wanted to explain my proposed deletion of your article Malik ibn al-Nadr. There are a few reasons for this, but largely the first is that there is no stated importance to the subject, which falls under the criteria for speedy deletion. Additionally, the article would likely have been proposed for deletion or taken to articles for deletion on the grounds of notability. Effectively, the subject of an article needs to have notability established by multiple reliable, independent, relatively in-depth sources in order to warrant an article on Wikipedia. For more on this specific issue, please see WP:NOTGENEALOGY. As noted above, you can contest this deletion, but if it is taken to articles for deletion and deleted successfully, it will be considerably harder to recreate than if it were simply speedily deleted on grounds of no stated importance. All the best, TheTechnician27 (Talk page) 22:09, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
