This is not vandalism, sir.

[edit]

I'm just trying to give out facts. If you look at the part "Hoa controlled 80% of South Vietnam's foods...", you will see that it's poorly written. The guy probably didn't know much about Ho Chi Minh city's history when he wrote it. I'm just trying to post a warning there to alert people. Can you imagine what would happen if false facts spread like wild fire? Many people quote from Wikipedia, and they believe the information on Wikipedia is very credible.

I can provide you with original sources (in Vietnamese) if you want.

A good way to get the article improved would be to discuss your ideas on the Talk page and, once you have consensus, then to edit the main page. There should never be text on an article itself saying anything like This is so false; but that type of discussion is fine on the Talk page - it's what the Talk page is for. Happy editing.--MichaelMaggs 07:16, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Huemassacre.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Huemassacre.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:06, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
