Careful about edit warring

[edit]

Please try to avoid edit warring - See [1], [2], [3], [4]. Your edits are reverted by several other contributors. Remember that Wikipedia is about collaboration, so please use the article talk page to discuss with others. Thanks. - DVdm (talk) 15:25, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Frank Zappa shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. - DVdm (talk) 12:40, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. - DVdm (talk) 12:42, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring on topics related to Frank Zappa has been frequent in the past. If you expect to contribute in this area, you should be willing to engage in discussions and explain the reasons for your edits. Your changes won't survive here unless you can persuade others that you are correct. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 18:55, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Your first attempt to change the genre at Frank Zappa was here on November 20. There was a complaint filed against you at the edit-warring board. We do not see your name anywhere on the talk page giving your reasons for these changes, and we don't see you waiting to persuade anyone else. Please don't continue to try forcing your version; you may be blocked with no further warning. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 17:06, 2 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Mmlov, reinstating your version of this article with a provocative edit summary in the absence of consensus is jeopardizing your editing privilege. Please self revert your edits and return to the article talk page to avoid being blocked. I will watchlist this page in the event you have any questions. Tiderolls 16:11, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for edit warring, as you did at Frank Zappa. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Tiderolls 16:16, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mmlov for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Friginator (talk) 01:07, 3 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

-- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 06:36, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How can I may make useful contributions. What it might be? And i'm sorry for this story. I nevermore so I will not--Mmlov (talk) 21:17, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Я не понимаю

[edit]

Вы говорите по-русски? Откуда вы? Friginator (talk) 23:39, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
