- For a media that in your own words report only "highly notable" news, the article on Mikhail Kalashnikov is surprisingly detailed for an individual whose lifelong achievement has been to invent one type of automatic weapon. His life before (his interest in poetry) and after (his "spritual pain" at having invented a rifle) are described in such detail that it reads like a hagiography.
