CCT 110 Assignment Talk

[edit]

- So, we need a topic for our assignment!--Mlgshadowdog (talk) 19:28, 7 August 2012 (UTC) Pavel[reply]
- Wind mobile? --Dhami G (talk) 19:31, 7 August 2012 (UTC)Sukhjeevan[reply]
- Instagram, lets start doing research on it tonight. --Dhami G (talk) 19:42, 7 August 2012 (UTC)Sukhjeevan[reply]
- I looked up some things yesterday and I found few things:

  1. Instagram Alternatives for BlackBerry, maybe a section we could do - http://crackberry.com/instagram-blackberry
  2. Some Instagram statistics - http://www.digitalbuzzblog.com/infographic-instagram-stats/ --Mlgshadowdog (talk) 18:07, 8 August 2012 (UTC) Pavel[reply]

- We could also do a section on instagram speaking about the different effects you could add to pictures in which you upload --Dhami G (talk) 20:54, 8 August 2012 (UTC) Sukhjeevan[reply]
- I've found some cool add-on's we could talk about in our wikipedia page that are linked to Instagram. So maybe we could add a whole paragraph on add-on's? http://www.macworld.com/article/1160269/instagramprojects.html --Dhami G (talk) 21:25, 8 August 2012 (UTC) Sukhjeeevan[reply]

- Okay so I got some information on the different filters that Instagram has, not sure if it's everything but it's quite a few. http://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2012/04/a-guide-to-the-instagram-filters-youll-soon-be-seeing-on-facebook/255650/ --Li.jerry (talk) 19:09, 9 August 2012 (UTC) Jerry[reply]
- Yeah sure, I think we can make a chart out of that. --Mlgshadowdog (talk) 19:11, 9 August 2012 (UTC) Pavel[reply]
- Here is my sandbox, hopefully I linked it properly http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=User:Mlgshadowdog/sandbox&pe=1& --Mlgshadowdog (talk) 19:32, 9 August 2012 (UTC) Pavel[reply]
- Guys I think we need to do more, apparently we don't have enough according to my friend. --Li.jerry (talk) 23:01, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Yo, here is a template on how to insert references <xxref INSERT WEBSITE NAME AND/OR DISCRIPTION>INSERT A LINK HERE<xx/ref>
* MAKE SURE TO REMOVE THE X--Mlgshadowdog (talk) 19:41, 14 August 2012 (UTC) Pavel[reply]
- Oh yeah, I also made a reference section so we don't get them red errors on the page. --Mlgshadowdog (talk) 19:48, 14 August 2012 (UTC) Pavel[reply]
- So this musician Ellie Goulding came out with this music video looks like few days ago that is made on fan instagram photos. http://mashable.com/2012/08/09/ellie-goulding-instagram-music-video/ AND it has not been mentioned in the article as of the time I posted this. --Mlgshadowdog (talk) 19:41, 15 August 2012 (UTC) Pavel[reply]
- You guys think we should talk about some of the add-ons? If we are I think I'll just add few of the paid ones.--Mlgshadowdog (talk) 19:58, 15 August 2012 (UTC) Pavel[reply]
- I did a whole part on add-ons so we should be good --Dhami G (talk) 20:21, 15 August 2012 (UTC) Sukhjeevan Dhami[reply]
- Right, I forgot. I added a section where you can put the stuff in.--Mlgshadowdog (talk) 20:28, 15 August 2012 (UTC) Pavel[reply]
- Ok, to make it simpler, just surround the URL that you're trying to cite w/ <'ref></ref'> (omit the ') --Mlgshadowdog (talk) 21:39, 15 August 2012 (UTC) Pavel[reply]
- Yea I did that it seems to look fine now as my sources are their 7-11 on the reference list. Also guys i dont think we can post photos because your not aloud to post pictures on a sandbox user page. --Dhami G (talk) 21:50, 15 August 2012 (UTC) Sukhjeevan[reply]
- I'm not getting much info on the instaglasses, so sad...it's only a concept idea so i tried to elaborate on it as much as i could. I drew from four different sources--Li.jerry (talk) 00:45, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I'm still going to try to post pictures, my section is not the same without photos.--Li.jerry (talk) 00:46, 16 August 2012 (UTC) Jerry[reply]
- thanks for the reference guide Pavel, the second one was a lot easier to use haha. --Li.jerry (talk) 01:18, 16 August 2012 (UTC) Jerry[reply]
- Ok so I'm going to look over it and then we'll see if there is other things. --Mlgshadowdog (talk) 01:24, 16 August 2012 (UTC) Pavel[reply]

License tagging for File:Final-boss-logo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Final-boss-logo.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 17:05, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Major League Gaming article

[edit]

Thanks for editing the article before I could. Treyvo (talk) 16:06, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Finalboss meadowlands08.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ww2censor (talk) 17:32, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:FinalBoss.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sherool (talk) 20:16, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

MLG Missing Slots

[edit]

Thanks for getting those empty slots. I wasn't able to get them since my computer crashed and my documents were deleted. All I could do was delete the obvious and questionable. Treyvo (talk) 17:22, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
