Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:Best Of Nantucket LP.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you uploaded the same image twice: as Image:Best Of Nantucket LP.jpg and also as Image:Best Of Nantucket.jpg. The latter copy of the file has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and remember exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 22:02, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Guide To Groovy Lovin.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Guide To Groovy Lovin.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:07, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:No_Direction_Home_LP.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:No_Direction_Home_LP.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Videmus Omnia Talk 06:10, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
Typo redirect Lisa of Alabama Covered Bridges
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Lisa of Alabama Covered Bridges, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Lisa of Alabama Covered Bridges is a redirect page resulting from an implausible typo (CSD R3).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Lisa of Alabama Covered Bridges, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Fair use rationale for Image:FranklintonSeal.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:FranklintonSeal.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Covered bridges
Hi, I've been doing rating assessments on WikiProject Alabama related articles and noticed some of your covered bridge contributions. I enjoyed reading them and just wanted to let you know. Altairisfartalk 04:30, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks
Before I stumbled upon all of your hard work, I didn't even know that Alabama had more than a couple of these bridges remaining. The only one that I knew about was the Alamuchee-Bellamy Covered Bridge, because I started my college career at Livingston. I've always loved it since then. It was in better repair in the late 80s/early 90s than it is now, judging from the photo. I haven't been back in many years. Anyway, thanks again. Altairisfartalk 19:44, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
