Welcome to Wikipedia! Nice work on the above article. Just one point on sources and references - per Wikipedia's guidelines on reliable sources and verifiability, personal interviews, e-mail correspondence and blogs are not considered reliable sources because they are not verifiable. You have good sources in the article - newspapers etc, so I don't think the article is in any danger of being deleted for lack of sources, but if you can improve the sourcing with additional reliable sources, that would be great.
