Speedy deletion of Harry Culverhouse

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Harry Culverhouse requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Hider In The House, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Hider in the House. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. AfD nomination of Free (Dani Harmer Song)

Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. roux   19:07, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to The Ting Tings. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to blocking of editing privileges. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. ~~ [ジャム][t - c] 17:04, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. AdjustShift (talk) 16:13, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the Apprentice title from Alan Sugar as it's a non-free image and cannot be used to illustrate a biography. I suggest that since you are on a last warning from earlier today, you take great care to comply with policy, particularly those that can have legal consequences. Thanks. This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you delete or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Jo O'Meara discography, you will be blocked from editing. --Auric (talk) 16:27, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Please can i ask that in the interest of courtesy and for ease of understanding when making edits like you have done to Leona Lewis and Nicole Scherzinger can you provide an WP:edit summary. this helps other editors identify what changes have been made to articles. I know myself that sometimes i forget to do so, but it does make things easier for other users if you can provide a brief summary of the additions/deletions or changes you have made to an article. A tag has been placed on Pop Princesses 2009 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Jo O'Meara. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Tabercil (talk) 22:22, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted this move, for two reasons. First, you didn't move the Talk page. Second, and more serious, you should have discussed this before doing it; if you look at the Talk page, there was a discussion about this in January and there was then no consensus to move. If you feel the name should be changed, please open a discussion. Thanks. Rodhullandemu 15:06, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Gareth Oliver requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Proposed deletion of 2 Grand

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article 2 Grand, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Article has no content - Article is marked as InUse. Tagging as Prod for tracking reasons in case no content is added

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. A tag has been placed on 2 Grand requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

Wikipedia policy does not permit articles to exist in main space unless they reach a minimum standard. Creating empty article is not acceptable, even if you intend to add to them later. Only create articles in main space when you have enough content to prevent speedy deletion.

How ever you may create seed articles in your own User space and work on them there until they are ready for the Main space. Which is done with the move command. User space pages begin with [[USER:Mizmif/....]].

So I have moved the following 2 articles to your space for you. They will not be deleted from there.

The article Dani Harmer discography has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

1. Not enough output to justify a separate article as yet; 2. completely unsourced. 3. Mostly fails WP:CRYSTAL. 4. Improper use of non-free image.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Rodhullandemu 18:17, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Mizmif! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 13 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Speedy deletion nomination of Natalie Okri

[edit]

Hello, Mizmif

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Natalie Okri for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons. For more details please see the notice on the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
