Thank you for uploading File:Ramesh Panigrahi.jpg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:40, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

All images uploaded to Wikipedia are required to have two things per Wikipedia:Image use policy#Required information: verifiable information about their provenance and a copyright license. In addition, the person who takes a photo is typically considered to be its copyright holder (even in some cases where they're using someone else's camera) and only that person can release their photo under a copyright license that Wikipedia accepts. So, if this photo was taken by a Anindita Panigrahi, and that person is not you, then Anindita Panigrahi is going to need to choose one of the licenses listed here to release their photo under and provide a way for Wikipedia to formally verify they are giving their WP:CONSENT for the file to be uploaded to Wikipedia under such a license. Without a copyright license and some way of verifying the copyright holder's consent, Wikipedia isn't going to be able to keep this photo. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:55, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
