Hi. It is always tempting to revert a user when he or she removes warnings from their talk page. However, WP:OWNTALK indicates that when a user removes a warning from their talk page it is taken as confirmation that the warning has been read. Therefore such actions would not be considered as vandalism and should not be reverted. Taroaldo (talk) 06:27, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

Hallo! Yes, I know about that rule, and only remembered it earlier today (too late to do anything.) Sorry for the trouble! I won't forget again! ;) --Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 22:47, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
Hi! No problem. Cheers. Taroaldo (talk) 01:45, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

edits on 1Operaman

please delete this article all together. the article is about me and it is not only inaccurate, i do not want to be listed on wikipedia. thank you 1musicman11 (talk) 01:00, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

Hallo! As Drmies wrote, please do not edit other user's pages/talk pages without permission from that user unless it's vandalism (which, in this case, it wasn't.)
As to you wanting it removed, it's not a Wikipedia article. It's someone's user page, which means that they are working on the article. It is not yet an article. Second, if you are truly the person being written about, I suggest you ask the author on their talk page to not publish it. Please note though that unless you can provide verifiable proof that you are who you say you are, the user may refuse. If it becomes an article, you can nominate it to be deleted, provided there's a good reason or, as I said, prove your identity.
Again, it's not an article yet. The user was simply working on it on their home page. If still you have any questions, please ask me on my talk page.
Cheers! --Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 01:17, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi Mithrandir,

regarding http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:1Operaman how do i prove my identity? what if 1Operaman doesn't respond? This is my info. please, i very much would like this removed.

thanks in advance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 1musicman11 (talkcontribs) 02:34, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

Hallo again! Unfortunately, right now, there's not much I can do. But even if 1Operaman did create the article, it will be pulled anyway (See this.) So if it does go up, someone will nominate it for speedy deletion and it will be quickly pulled. In other words, I don't think you have much too worry about.
However, if you want 1Operaman to take the article down off his page, I suggest you ask him on his talk page. For identity, I suggest linking to some website where a picture of yourself or some other identifying information (not too personal ;)) with a post there saying that you wish to have the contents of the page in question removed. But that, of course, is more of a "last step" if he asks for it and I have no idea if he will. Also, in this day and age of anyone claiming they are anyone, he still might not believe you.
Hmm.. I just took a look at his contributions, and apparently he hasn't been on since 2007. I still suggest you ask him, but there's really nothing you, nor I, can do. I still don't think that there's much to worry about (a quick Google search proves this; the article doesn't appear unless you append it with "wikipedia".)
I think the two most things to do is a) Ask him on his talk page and b) Do not take the "article" off his page; it'll simply be reverted.
Good luck!--Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 06:00, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
Hmmm... Now I see on User_talk:Ncmvocalist#Speedy deletion you wrote that you were 1Operaman and that you forgot the password. Yet on my page, you wrote like 1Operaman was someone entirely different. What's the true story? --Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 06:09, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

Hello?

Hello —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.33.83.251 (talk) 07:33, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

Hallo. Is there something I can help you with? --Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 07:38, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

Celine Dion

Just a quick comment. I saw that you recently edited a section of Celine Dion by another user who said she was a lesbian. I just wanted to let you know that you should be keen with what you type. Her son is not gay. He's nine years old, and I think it is wrong to create gossip such as that. Now, since it was in your explanation, it doesn't really matter, article wise. However, I just wanted to give you a heads up. Casually throwing words around, especially sensitive ones that that is ill-advised. I'm not judging you at all, I'm just letting you know my POV. Thanks. BalticPat22Patrick 01:25, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

Hallo! I wasn't trying to create gossip, I simply made an error when I looked it up online. (Next time, I'll read the article first, before I look it up online.) The person who said she was gay made an error in sources, and I guess I did too. Thanks for letting me know! I appreciate it! :) --Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 20:21, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Mithrandir's Note: Interesting edits here from here.

Edit for Kolomotu'a

I like to edit the Kolomotu'a article to merge it with the Nuku'alofa article since Nuku'alofa is the original name and Kolomotu'a was a later addition to marked out the original settlement of Nuku'alofa.

Nuku'alofa article will be adjusted today and both the article for Kolomotu'a and Kolofo'ou should be redirected to Nuku'alofa.Puakatau (talk) 10:18, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

Hallo! Please do not post on my user page; please post on my talk page instead.
As to the article, I have no idea if what you're saying is true or not (I'll assume it is) but I think as long as you can cite your sources using reliable third-party sources, and don't add POV to the article, you will be fine. However, if you continue to blank articles, your edits may be undone (by myself or, more likely since I'm not on 24-7, by someone else.) Thank you! --Mithrandir (Talk!) Sheryll Murray

hello you stated i vandilised page Sheryll Murray however the items written for 'controvicy' are very far from the source article

the source article quotes mentioning sheryll murray only mention this do not mention her in a drunken state etc therefore i have undone your undo of my post and hope you now realise this was a mistake on your part

Source Conservative chiefs also apologised after another MP, Sheryll Murray, was allegedly rude to a parliamentary official after she, too, had been drinking on the terrace overlooking the Thames.

Hallo! You would be correct, but the edits I undid had very little to due with the Controversy. (What little it did involved the use of the word "alleged".) Instead, they involved you publishing her alleged email address. Please do not publish email address', since they cannot be verified. If you can publish material that has references and does not include her email, please do so. Thank you. --Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 10:37, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi

I am trying to contribute to an article but it doesn't let me —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.84.99.152 (talk) 05:07, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

You efforts to contribute succeeded, but unfortunately they did not comply with our standards. Please read this. Thanks! (The reason why you can't edit is because you've been blocked for 31 hours.) --Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 05:11, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

A.N. Wilson

Dear MithrandirAgain

RE: your message to me (see below)

"July 2010 Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from A. N. Wilson. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Perhaps you could add to the article, and not remove the content with no edit summary? Thanks! Mithrandir∞ (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 09:21, 27 July 2010 (UTC)"

I am writing from Capel & Land Ltd - we are A. N. Wilson's agents. Mr Wilson was not happy with the content of his wikipedia page and asked me to change - hence the removal which you refer to above. Is it not possible to have the information that he requests to be on there?

Since the original text has been restored, I have removed the line that says "He later became a convert to Roman Catholicism, but reverted to the Church of England.” This is completely fabricated and therefore it should not be on his page. I do hope you agree.

Kind regards, Rachel Conway Rachel Conway

Unfortunately, Wikipedia can't verify if what you're saying is true or not (it is the Internet after all.) Please see this and this Thanks! --Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 07:38, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
