Do Not Fall Into The Trap!
[edit]Do not fall into the trap that many of us Jatt Sikhs do. I noticed you added Udham Singh as a Jatt Sikh. He is indeed a Kamboj Sikh http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Udham_Singh. I once thought Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa was a Jatt because his surname was Uppal. How wrong I was. He is actually a Khatri, and Uppal is originally a Khatri/Kshatriya surname. But we live and learn. Also do not add statements without references. Regards--Sikh-history (talk) 21:01, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
Yes although there are a few references which state udham singh is a jatt sandhu, and in punjab it was very easily confused with castes of upper authority jatts kambojs and arors married freely in punjab ,most kamboj and arors nowadays just refer to themself as jatt ,but yes ill agree with you source about udham singh. misterconginialtastical 19:38, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 19:47, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Re: Bhaghat Singh
[edit]Please see this article and discussion on why Bhaghat Singh was an Atheist. You are welcome to add additional references, but the WP:Consensus on this is that Bhaghat Sikh was an Atheist. Regards --Sikh-history (talk) 21:39, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Jatt Sikh appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. Removal of legitimate sources smacks of POV. Please discuss and do not remove till there is consensus.
