[edit]Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Michelle Buteau, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 12:24, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks I'm happy to add. I didn't see where sources were added for the other stand up special listed for in filmography so I that's why I didn't add. I admit I'm a beginner but curious as to why some of the tv specials posted don't require sources but this particular one does. Any insight is greatly appreciated. - The other unsourced content on the article is an issue and not a good example to be followed - ideally every entry should have a source for verification, and some of the content in filmography is sourced in the 'Career' section rather than the tables. References also aren't usually formatted as external links, which shouldn't be in the body of an article per WP:ELBODY - I've converted the Netflix link into a citation. - Okay thanks again and Happy New Year. I appreciate your guidance. I'm new to all of this and may not be cut out for it, lol. On another page (Shilo Sanders) I had attempted to add information about his graduation/degree but it was removed too. I attended the graduation and have the university's online link to the commencement booklet citing the date, location, his name, degree, honors, etc. as a reliable source. Sounds like that should be a citation and not part of the body - much like the Netflix situation you corrected. Missoutreach (talk) 01:05, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
