Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Wake Up Call (Theory of a Deadman album) you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Homeostasis07 -- Homeostasis07 (talk) 01:21, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The article Wake Up Call (Theory of a Deadman album) you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Wake Up Call (Theory of a Deadman album) for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already been on the main page as an "In the news" or "Did you know" item, you can nominate it to appear in Did you know. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Homeostasis07 -- Homeostasis07 (talk) 02:21, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You're awesome

Most people would've taken the good article symbol and ran, but you were very kind to offer to review one of my nominations in return. After completing several other GA reviews over the past few months with not so much as a hint of reciprocity, your gesture was very much appreciated. But your nomination genuinely was a breeze: tiny prose things and a couple of sources... whereas my nominations all have at least 80+ sources, and would probably require a heck of a lot more work on your part than I had to do when reviewing your article. But thanks for the offer anyway. And this might seem like an incredibly random question, but were you ever a member of a Cardigans forum? I ask because your username is very similar to someone I used to be friends with there (15 years ago). She was an incredibly kind user as well, and probably one of the nicest people I've ever come across on the internet. Just thought I'd ask... ;-) Homeostasis07 (talk) 01:04, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Homeostasis07: I didn't realize you actually had active nominations and looking at the list, I see that you have a few that have been waiting as long as Wake Up Call did. That being said: the offer still stands. I'm seeing one nomination that has less than 50 refs to go through, so sources sch-mources. I'm a firm believer in that kindness begets kindness, period, and I'm more than happy to review any article you want me to take a peek at (as long as you're well aware that it may take me a bit longer to review your articles than it did mine). I honestly don't accept the notion that an equal amount of work needs to be exchanged here. To me, a review is a review is a review. ;-)
As far as your question goes, I cannot say that I've been a member of a Cardigans forum. At least I don't think so. I was drinking and using drugs heavily about 15 years ago, so who knows. :-D But I'm sure she is/was an amazing person for you to ask so "randomly" in efforts of tracking her down.
Feel free to hit me up for anything, really. And thank you very much for your thoughtful words. Having my kindness acknowledged makes me feel almost as good as dishing the kindness out. We all just have to remember that there's another human being on the other side of that computer screen. :-) — Miss Sarita 04:16, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the offer. If you have the time and patience to review one of my articles, I'd appreciate it. If not, I have no problem waiting for my nominations to reach the top of the queue at WP:GAN#Albums and being reviewed by one of the regulars. GAN#Albums has been so slow this past year, and I've no idea why, since it's usually the fastest-moving GA subsection. But I've been waiting since June/July, so I'd have no problem waiting for another two or three months.
I can relate to your issues with drugs and alcohol. My brother died suddenly in 2008, which ended up leading to my own addiction issues for the next couple of years. I could tell you a horror story about a dealer pulling out a knife and me gaining control of that knife and, uh... I've already said too much. Richard Ashcroft said it best: "Now the drugs don't work, they just make you worse"... too true. Damn. I really had no intention of saying any of that. The Sarita I used to talk to also had the capability of making me say things publicly I never intended to say. You sure you were never a fan of "Lovefool"? ;) Homeostasis07 (talk) 01:07, 5 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Homeostasis07:I used to do GA reviews on an account that I no longer use, so reviewing an article is not foreign to me (although I may have to look everything over to refresh my memory). Tell you what: I can go over the article and act as if I'm going through the process in my sandbox. If someone doesn't snatch it up before I'm through, I will claim the GA review and we can proceed. If someone does snatch it up, then I will concede to that user. I want to help, but I don't want to commit and promise you anything when I can't guarantee it can be done quickly. Did that make sense? (I've had an abnormally high amount of caffeine this morning.) :-)
Now, now. I said nothing about not being a fan of "Lovefool"! (I used to blast that song at horrendously loud volumes as I drove around town.) That was a good effing song!
I'm very sorry to hear about your brother. That is never easy, but I hope you were able to get control of your addictions and heal yourself. As far as your dealer and a situation that involved a knife, I'm very good at coming up with alibis. Just let me know. Wait... Was that too public? Well...f*ck. :-) — Miss Sarita 19:46, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I see you've already started the GA review in a sandbox. If you can get around to reviewing Travelling, I'd really appreciate it. But I know how much work is involved in reviewing an article, so I'd completely understand if you don't have the time. ;) "Lovefool" is a cool song, although I've always been more partial to Gran Turismo, to be honest. It's a lot darker and bittersweet, and probably suits both of our lives a hell of a lot better... considering what we've already said. ;) Homeostasis07 (talk) 00:46, 9 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Homeostasis07: Working on it periodically this week as time allows. Feel free to drop by that sandbox and get a head start on any suggestions. And I have never actually listend to Gran Turismo...I'll have to check it out. :-) — Miss Sarita 18:03, 9 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This puppy's coming for you!

A puppy barnstar for you!
Thank you so much for your time and effort in reviewing Travelling. If you ever need help with a future project, whatever it may be, please leave a message on my talk page and I'd happily jump straight on it! I mean it. You genuinely are the most awesome Wikipedia user I've come across in the last 3 years! Homeostasis07 (talk) 00:32, 16 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Homeostasis07: Stop, stop. You're making me blush. :-D Honestly, I don't even know what to say. But thank you very much, and you are so very welcome. I appreciate you reviewing my article as well. Please let me know if you need anything! — Miss Sarita 01:41, 16 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The Tireless Contributor Barnstar
Thank you very much for reviewing another one of my GA noms. I really appreciate it! Homeostasis07 (talk) 00:24, 25 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Homeostasis07: You are more than welcome. The offer always stands if you need something checked out, just let me know. I'll keep an eye on your third GA nomination. If it's not picked up soon, I'll take a look at that one, too. Thanks for being such a pleasant Wikipedian to work with! :-) — Miss Sarita 16:32, 25 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the delayed response. Been a busy week. But you've been more than reciprocal already. I genuinely do appreciate everything you've done so far. I have no idea why the albums section of GAN has been so slow this past year (it's usually the quickest-moving section)... but the clot seems to have been unblocked these past few weeks, so I'm sure Charm School will be picked up very soon. I mean, if you find yourself incredibly bored with nothing else to do, then have at it. ;) If not, you've already fulfilled your awesome quota this year. ;) Homeostasis07 (talk) 00:25, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Zac Efron filmography

Hello, Miss Sarita. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Zac Efron filmography".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CptViraj (Talk) 08:50, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hey. Sorry to see your draft was deleted. I saw this comment when it was originally posted, but didn't want to respond then in case you thought I was mooching for another GA review. But my last GA nomination is being reviewed, so I have no ulterior motives writing this. ;) You should know that your draft hasn't been completely scrubbed from Wikipedia: you can get it back via the "official" channel listed above, or you can still see the entire thing (as it was on 8 June 2019) here. I have limited experience with filmography articles, but I've created/expanded my fair share of Wiki discographies (same difference, really). So if you ever need help re-creating this article, I'd be more than happy to assist. ;) Homeostasis07 (talk) 22:56, 6 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Homeostasis07: I would never think you were mooching for anything! Seriously, don't say such things! But, I'm very happy to see that your last GA nom has been reviewed. You've waited a long time to get all of those articles to GA status, so congratulations!
Regarding the Zac Efron filmography draft, I knew it was coming. The "poll" taken on the talk page gave me insight into the future of my draft, but that's okay. If anything, I was only pissed off because these folks gave me the deletion notice at almost 1:50 in the morning...and then deleted it less than 30 minutes later at 2:13. At least give me a chance to wake up and have my morning coffee and cigarette before you go deleting my shit! I've just now asked that the draft be reinstated if only to copy the code for possible future usage (that crap took me hours to write), but I greatly appreciate you taking the time to find the web archive of it. That was incredibly thoughtful of you.
Thank you for reaching out! It was so good to hear from you. Please stay in touch and again, congratulations on finally clearing those GA nominations off your deck! Now, you can nominate some more, but make sure to let me know when you do. I'm more than happy to have a look at them when I have time. :-) — Miss Sarita 16:26, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm glad that you got your draft back. The timing of it definitely sucked. One of my friends on Wikipedia recently had several of their sandboxes repeatedly deleted over some dubious copyright violation claims. My suspicion is that some of the higher-ups had a discussion somewhere about freeing up server space, and one of the easiest ways of doing that would be to delete those sorts of pages. Although that's just my opinion. ;)
I think I'm gonna take a break from GA after my current nomination is finished with. The length of time these ones took was quite disheartening. There's another project I've had on the back-burner for far too long now, so I'd like to give that another go. But the offer still stands for Zac Efron's filmography. Despite what the consensus of that discussion said, there really isn't that much difference between your draft and Leonardo DiCaprio filmography—a featured list. The main thrust of their argument was that the Zac Efron article isn't yet big enough for a standalone filmography, and the same could have been said about Marie Fredriksson when I created a separate discography section. Of course, I expanded Marie's article later on, and you could do the same. ;) Thankfully, being WP:BOLD is encouraged on Wikipedia, so feel free to just do whatever you want anyway. ;) Homeostasis07 (talk) 16:27, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Homeostasis07: Sorry for the delay in response! I guess I understand the reasoning behind the opposition of creating a Zac Efron list for his filmography and discography, but rationally, it doesn't make sense. I mean, unless the man dies tomorrow (*knocks on wood*), Efron is just starting to enter the peak of his career. He is far from slowing down. With his growing number of executive producer credits and his continued musical endeavors, it's inevitable that a separate article will be necessary to list all of his works. (I can only agree with WP:CRYSTALBALL so much before it kinda becomes a bit ridiculous. Like, if a car has malfunctioning brakes and is careening toward a brick wall, how many real outcomes are there?) So, my reasoning is, "Why wait until the list gets incredibly cumbersome to create? Which, as it stands now, took me quite some time to put together. Why not publish it now, meaning it would be less work to simply update it when necessary?" But...whatever. Such is one of the pitfalls of collaborating with multiple editors on Wikipedia.
I took a look at your last GA nomination and was shocked to see that it failed. I read through most of the comments on the review page, and I'm not gonna lie...I was pretty irritated with the reviewer. In my opinion, it didn't seem like s/he took the time to really attempt to work out the kinks in the article. I see that you haven't put it back up for nomination, but if you do, I have some spare time this weekend to do a review. The only catch...I'll be on vacation for a week, starting next Wednesday, so I won't be able to get to your responses until at least the 31st. But the offer is there. :-) — Miss Sarita 18:59, 18 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the offer, but you should make the most of the nice, relaxing break you have coming up. ;) Plus, I've spotted someone in the WP:GAN#Albums queue who recently renominated an article after it was previously failed. I think it's a safe bet they don't want to wait around until July 2020 for their article to be reviewed again either, so it's probably mutually beneficial if I go down that avenue. ;) But I technically can't do anything until my reviewer completes their work (i.e., fill out the checklist table, so that the next reviewer knows what needs doing). I pinged them with a message to that effect, but they've not responded—and they were editing at the time of the ping, but haven't edited since... Guess I have to wait another while.
And I hope your vacation is more relaxing than the one I took last month, when my 5 year old walked up to me and said "We were playing hide and seek with [a random boy she and my son had just met], and we can't find him". So we all spent ten minutes walking around looking for him... through a car park, through a forest... hoping he'd jump out. All the while my two kids were saying "Wow! He's really good at hide and seek", while I was thinking, "Oh shit! He's been abducted! Someone has driven into the car park and snatched him! I don't even know what he looks like. What am I gonna tell the police? What am I gonna tell his parents?!" Thankfully, the kid jumped out of some bushes that were right next to the hotel but, fuck... I think I aged 20 years in those 10 minutes. So try and avoid situations like that, and enjoy your vacation. ;) Homeostasis07 (talk) 21:16, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Homeostasis07: I hope the reviewer completes what they've started (which, honestly, should've been done when they failed the article, but I'm just gonna keep my mouth shut on that one). If your current plan doesn't pan out, just let me know and I will find the time to take a look at it. You've been waiting too damn long for this.

I'm looking forward to my Key West vacation (believe me...recent real life events have forced me to accept that this trip is much deserved...gotta find that joie de vivre again). I just fear that my spoiled California beach girl happy vibes (and my hair) are gonna be destroyed by the Florida humidity. :-( Oh well. You win some, you lose some, c'est la vie, and all that jazz, right? BTW, is it super bad that I totally found humor in the misfortunes of your last vacation and was cracking up by the end of your message? Like, full-on rolling. Off. The. Couch! It sounds like you rightfully may have earned a few gray hairs from that moment (which feels incredibly ironic to say to someone who feels like they mentally aged two decades while on vacation). Hope you've fully recovered from that experience. ;-)

But for real, keep me posted on your nomination. :-) — Miss Sarita 16:03, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
