Undue Bias
Executives of organizations, owners of companies, and individuals themsevles are not allowed on wikipedia to edit pages of organizations of which they are employed by. Since you are an Exectuive, high level employee of the ELCA, please refrain from editing the ELCA page. Any further edits would violate Wikipedia guidelines regarding undue bias.

Orphaned non-free media (Image:ELCAemblem.gif)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:ELCAemblem.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:25, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
I just removed your unexplained deletions of content and links from the ELCA page; if you wish to remove material, it is best to discuss it at the talk page or (at very least) include informative edit summaries. Thanks, Awickert (talk) 17:00, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.
I have no choice but to revert your deletion of content if you do not provide an explanation for why the content is being removed. If you continue to use neither edit summaries nor the talk page, but revert the page to your preferred version, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you, Awickert (talk) 18:59, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- I just reverted your edits again. I've been more than clear about your need to communicate. I also know that you are removing parts of the article that may be seen as defamatory, links to other articles that you may just not like, and it seems that you are employed by the ELCA. I am informing an administrator of the dispute. I will be clear: I will never stop reverting you until you explain why you are deleting that content. Awickert (talk) 16:33, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- You asked for some policy. You should certainly read WP:COI. It would be good if you could confirm (or deny) the assertions made about your relation to the article. You may also wish to read WP:3RR and stuff. If you have questions, please ask them here. If you have issues with the article, it is best to sort them out by discussion. Certainly simple deletion of material will not work William M. Connolley (talk) 21:31, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
translation impossible?
[edit]There is a discussion going on whether the name of that German church body can be translated or not (it appears like this on the english pages of this church's homepage). One user changed the name of this Church (actually a federation of several Lutheran, United and Reformed churches) and it's regional member churches to the German form because he says their names can't get translated. so the article on the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria now appears under its German name because he says the "concept" can't be translated into English. Please go to the discusson page of the Evangelical Church in Germany and have your say --93.130.249.56 (talk) 02:30, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
