Thanks for uploading Image:Motorola V557.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a free image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Emmanuel Goldstein (disambig)

[edit]

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Emmanuel Goldstein (disambiguation), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Emmanuel Goldstein (disambiguation). If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.

I added this b/c I think there just aren't enough links to justify a disambig page. Thanks, Naufana : talk 21:40, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: MIPS Assembly

[edit]

Someone suggested me that the article should be put on WikiBooks instead. I agreed with that. If someone already did so, please do delete the original article. And thanks for informing me.--Saoshyant talk / contribs (I don't like Wikipedophiles) 13:58, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

street racing

[edit]

Hi, please have a look at street racing. I have reorganized it, per your suggestion, added sources, cleaned up some of the verbiage, and expanded it substantially. Thanks, ... aa:talk 22:22, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

I didn't put the ref at the end of the sentence, because the entry I linked to doesn't state that he used "C" and "Core Foundation". Since you originally wrote that when you created the article, is there a chance you have a better source that also states that? AlistairMcMillan 07:18, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the whole "does the ref marker go after the specific fact being sourced, before the period of the sentence being sourced or after the period of the sentence being sourced" thing is still up for debate and pretty much down to personal choice right now. If I'm wrong and you can point me to a definite answer on the site somewhere I'd be grateful. AlistairMcMillan 18:23, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
