DYK

[edit]
Updated DYK query On February 13, 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article National Poetry Month, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

What a way to start! Blnguyen (bananabucket) 08:40, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Academy of American Poets

[edit]

Thanks for the vote of confidence on this article, which I've been slowly improving. I'm disinclined to get into conflict with Collectonion on this; the Academy article does still need improvement. I noticed that you worked on the National Poetry Month article. I'd like to encourage you to add a short section on National Poetry Month to the Academy article, with a link to the main article. It's been on my list, but I think you're more knowledgable. I thought the brief notes on the "anti Poetry Month" sentiments in the Poetry Month article were pretty interesting, incidentally. Non-free rationale for File:NPM Poster 06.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:NPM Poster 06.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:48, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Anthony Tognazzini

[edit]

Hi, I'm Kudpung. Mintmonkey, thanks for creating Anthony Tognazzini!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please address the sources and the tagged issue(s). This is a BLP and requires very strong independent sources. Punlishers' sources are not independent. Book reviews are not about the author. See WP:AUTHOR.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

The article Anthony Tognazzini has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Has not received substantial independent coverage to meet WP:NAUTHOR

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I'm serious: do NOT reinstate that content until you can do so with rigorous secondary sources--not court transcripts. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 00:59, 11 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
