Using Wikipedia to promote a cause

Please don't try to use Wikipedia to promote anything: doing so is not permitted by Wikipedia policy. You may go on campaigning "until [you] get the media attention [you think you] deserve" if you like, but Wikipedia is not the place to do it. Also, please read WP:ADMINSHOP, and don't post numerous copies of the same message or essentially similar messages to numerous administrators.
