Yes, to answer the quesiton on my talk page, please wait and slow down. As fast as I can click on things to track the history, there are new changes. Page moving can quickly make quite the mess and is not for inexperienced users. Bobby Cohn (talk) 20:58, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Some friendly guidance about page moves and editing

Hi @Mind the gap 1, I've done the cleanup from the RM you opened. Now DAA (Irish company) will redirect to DAA (company) which is the correct location for the page following the consensus that was formed at Talk:DAA (company) § Requested move 28 November 2024.

Please note that when opening or participating in RMs, you are not allowed to conduct a closure nor may you carry out the move yourself; as by voicing an opinion, you have become WP:INVOLVED as you can see at Requested moves § Closing a requested move and Wikipedia:Requested moves/Closing instructions. As such, I have vacated your closure by reverting it on the talk page. I did however, immediately close it myself and move it properly, as it is an area that I am familiar in.

In general, page moving can be messy and it is best to leave it to experienced editors who are familiar with the process, as you have inadvertently found out.

I hope your foray into editing Wikipedia hasn't scared you off from more editing, and I look forward to your future contributions as you learn the ropes around here.
