not a newcomer, but...

Er, not to harp, but would I be considered a newcomer? Mind the gap 23:02, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Section heading capitalization

[edit]

Hello. In a recent edit of yours, you changed the capitalization of section headings. FYI, Wikipedia:MoS#Headings recommends to capitalize only the first word and proper nouns in section headings. Peace. The Rod (☎ Smith) 23:33, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Contradict Tag on Seminole Tribe

[edit]

Could you please clarify where the problem is? I'll fix... Non Curat Lex (talk) 06:29, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There was no contradiction. The reference to Brennan and White (Retired/dead in 1994) was in reference to their commentary in a previous case on a similar issue. Careful reading shows that the article does not say that either Brennan or White was writing in Seminole Tribe. However, I added some language to be even more specific. Non Curat Lex (talk) 06:38, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That is an error. It should be Whizzer, not Edward. But in any case, the paragraph quoting him is clearly quoting him in another context. Non Curat Lex (talk) 08:40, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And it's FIXED. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.Non Curat Lex (talk) 19:13, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the help. Casey (talk) 19:18, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to the Manchester United Wikiproject. As I am sure you are no doubt aware, our task is to improve all articles relating to Manchester United F.C. to Wikipedia standards. To that end, we have a monthly collaboration where the entire task force attempts to improve a single article's level of quality. This month, we are working on Bobby Charlton. Any help you can provide with this would be much appreciated. We look forward to seeing you around the Man Utd articles, and please leave a message either on my talk page or at WT:MUFC if you have any questions. Cheers. – PeeJay 08:15, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

re 102nd Grey Cup

[edit]

I would like to thank you for your considered response to my vandalism of the above article; specifically, ignoring my pointiness. As much as I am frustrated by the parochial editing by some contributors, I am reassured that there are those who simply clean up after the idiots and get on with building the encyclopedia. It is my hope that editors like you remain in the majority. LessHeard vanU (talk) 18:31, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. —DoRD (talk) 12:35, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
