Hi, DCI! I happened to notice a bunch of entries on recent changes about your username change, and when I came to your userpage, I noticed that your archives were redlinks, still pointing at the old archive locations. I've taken the liberty of pointing them to the new ones; I hope you don't mind! Writ Keeper 20:00, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much; I don't mind at all. dci | TALK 21:57, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I'm sure the vandals will have their fun, but it's quickly reverted on main page Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:51, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Edmund Andros, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Falmouth (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your request for rollback

[edit]

Hi DCI2026. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! CharlieEchoTango (contact) 22:59, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

newmanrs psilocybin article edits

[edit]

I'm very disappointed that you wrote on my talk page accusing me of making joke edits without viewing the revision history of the page. Did you not check the revision history? (http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Psilocybin&diff=479549988&oldid=479548855)? I said I was removing incoherent vandalism, and I stand by my statement, unless you can substantiate the claims that psilocybin is used for nuclear medicine and that all microbiology labs are inherently bad for your health.

The fact that you would write on my talk page without even verifying whether or not the edit was a joke appalls me. It suggests (at least in my perceptions) that you care more about being smug to other editors than building better articles. Please check for vandalism first, accuse later.

I will continue reverting vandalism that I see to articles and cleaning them up, and not just "play" in a sandbox as you suggest. Have some trust, and check your histories before you accuse. Incidents like these drive many editors off of Wikipedia and leave it for the worse. Newmanrs (talk) 01:58, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
