Advising Directory

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Advisors directory, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. —Pilotguy (ptt) 04:03, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Advisors directory, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. If you plan to add more material to the article, I advise you to do so immediately. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Адам12901 Talk 04:22, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry that you feel the admins are "gangbanging" you, I'm not an admin myself, but I hope I haven't done too much, I merely wanted to give you some feedback on your article. However, for future refrence, please communicate with me through my discussions page (you'll go to my page then click on discussions at the top. this is usually called the talk page, and it is where I interact with other users, just like how I am interacting with you now. I'll check out your page and leave feedback in it's discussion page.

More about the disscussion page/article

[edit]

I'm also sorry you have given up on the article, had you correctly cited your sources it could've been a nice one. As to the disscussions page, I know that sounds picky, but it only tells you you have a message if someone types on your discussion page. They do NOT if you type on someone else's user page, because they assume only the user would type on that. Oh and by the way you don't need to be an admin to nominate an article for deletion or to edit an article. Admins have the final say though. Danielfolsom 04:46, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
