re David Choi
[edit]Looks like it could use some additional secondary sources. Take a moment to read WP:RS, WP:V, and also WP:CIT will be helpful. Cirt (talk) 03:49, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
- Also, you need to refer to David as "Choi" in the article other than his full name at the start, rather than by "David". Furthermore, references need to go to specific pages relating directly to what you are talking about, rather than to entire websites like itunes and so on. To use a similar example, if you were, say, referencing a BBC News article, your reference would be to that article, not to just www.bbc.co.uk/news. Regards, SGGH ping! 14:25, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
There is nothing to indicate that he is a notable performer. YouTube views and bit parts in commercials don't constitute notability; there is no evidence of any substantial coverage by reliable third-party sources. You are right, though, that the deletion should have been for non-notable bio, rather than recreation of a deleted article. --Orange Mike | Talk 13:00, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- None of the things you cite come near to qualifying him as a notable performer. Doing the drum programming for somebody's album; winning a minor contest: these don't cut it. And anybody can "release an album" on iTunes; that's like self-publishing, then saying, "I'm notable, you can buy my collected laundry lists on Amazon and they've gotten good reviews [that I wrote myself]!" --Orange Mike | Talk 12:58, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
