I saw that in your edit summary for Appomattox, Virginia, you were asking me about whether the new references have been verified. I will try to explain my best for both sources given that NOAA officially released the 1991–2020 normals data on May 4, 2021 and I am in the process of updating the climate data of many places in the United States.

For the first source from the National Weather Service, I used this source to get extremes info. Simply either pick the station name on the station menu or use the map to find it, then go to calendar day summaries. By default, the period of record is POR (from beginning) to present (this year). For record highs, select max temp as variable and by default the summary should be daily maximum which basically means highest temperature ever recorded in each day and nws highlights the highest temperature recorded in that month. For record lows, just select daily minimum and by default, the summary is daily minimum. Unfortunately, NWS doesn't have a direct url link for the records. For second source from NCEI, this is where temperature/precipitation/snowfall/days with precipitation and days with snowfall normals data is found. What I really about the NCEI source is that it is much more user friendly when searching station data for the 1991-2020 normals because the map and text search makes it much easier to use. Hi User, Thanks for your interest on the article on Jyotiprasad Medhi. But here I would like to tell you that the information that I had added in my previous edit which you've removed is authentic & a well known fact in the state of Assam as the cobcerned person, his Grandad & his uncle are famous personalities in the state of Assam in India. I gad added the reference to an Assamese language book which records the same & the same information is there on the Assamese Wikipedia with the same reference. So I was wondering if it would be ok to undo that edit of yours & let me have a look at the reference that I had provided if it was accidental erroneously so that the valuable information on this person could reach a wider audience through the English Wikipedia.
